Fans React As Alex Pereira Trains With Mark Zuckerberg – ‘Elon Ducked The Smoke’

UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Alex Pereira sparred Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg after the pair were training together.
Alex is already back in the gym following his first-round stoppage win over Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 320 this month to regain his light heavyweight belt. Alex and Zuckerberg crossed paths at the UFC Performance Institute where Alex invited Zuckerberg to train. Zuckerberg is known for being a fan of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, having won numerous tournaments. Mark was also being mentioned for an MMA fight against Elon Musk but it never transpired. The following clip shows the pair boxing, before going to the ground, with Zuckerberg holding his own.

Outside of that, Carlos Ulberg says he wants Pereira next. Ulberg secured a first-round knockout against Dominick Reyes at UFC Perth in September for his ninth win on the spin. His only loss came against Kennedy Nzechukwu at UFC 259 in 2021, making Ulberg one of the leading contenders in the division, as he is currently ranked third. However, Alex may not be at light heavyweight for much longer. Pereira has now been linked with a fight against Jon Jones at the UFC White House event in June 2026, with both expressing their desire to make it after reacting to Tom Aspinall’s no-contest with Ciryl Gane at UFC 321. However, if Ulberg gets his way, he wants Pereira next.
“You know what? I’d love to fight Alex. I think that’s the big fight. That’s the money fight. That’s an entertaining fight. That’s what the fans would love to see and watch. I’d hope that he’d stick around the light heavyweight division so I could fight Pereira. That would be amazing. That’d be the fight that I’ve always wanted—to fight Alex. And you beat someone like Alex, that just means you’re at that top, that top level. So, um… this is putting all the other guys out of the picture, but I want Alex,” Ulberg said
