Callum Walsh Vs. Carlos Ocampo Predictions – ‘Got Him By KO’

Callum Walsh headlines the inaugural Zuffa Boxing on Friday against Carlos Ocampo, as fans picked their winner.
The event serves as the official launch of Dana White’s foray into boxing. Walsh, the undefeated 24-year-old (15-0, 11 KOs), enters the ring with strong momentum following his victory last September. On the Canelo-Crawford undercard at Allegiant Stadium, Walsh got a unanimous decision over Fernando Vargas Jr. He is moving back up to the 160-pound middleweight limit for this debut.

Ocampo, a three-time world title challenger, has only lost to world champions Errol Spence Jr., Sebastian Fundora, and Tim Tszyu. With 26 knockouts to his name, Ocampo has more stoppage victories than Walsh has total professional fights. For Walsh, a convincing win over Ocampo would likely catapult him into Zuffa’s top five rankings.
Pre-Fight

“When I talk about matchmaking, I’m going to have all these up-and-coming guys. We have this kid named Ocampo, who is a seasoned veteran. His only losses are in title fights. He has more knockouts than Callum [Walsh] has fights. I’ve been talking smack about boxing for a long time, and now it’s time for me to put my money where my mouth is.
“I’m going to get rid of the sanctioning organizations. The best will fight the best. We’re going to sign all the young, up-and-coming guys. “If you break into the top 10 and you’re still undefeated, your undefeated record means something. You know what I mean? Everybody’s undefeated in boxing because nobody fights anybody, right? Everybody will fight everybody,” White said
