Deontay Wilder has doubled down on his claim that Tyson Fury cheated during their first two fights, telling The Gypsy King’s supporters to go to hell.

Wilder failed to win a single fight during their trilogy, securing a draw and two losses respectively. Wilder would later accuse Fury of glove tampering, while also stating that his ex-trainer Mark Breland had spiked his water. Wilder claimed to have evidence proving that Fury cheated, stating that he would later produce a documentary. Fury responded by suggesting that Wilder was struggling with mental health issues.

“He obviously needs the help and I’m not getting involved in pettiness. The fights were won fair and square and that’s it. I’m going to pray for him and as the father to bring him back to the light because this man is lost, lost soul, and I beg Jesus to return him to kingdom.

“Tough times can make people do and say crazy things. I know he’s been having a tough time with his personal life and his family and stuff, so it’s been very difficult times for Deontay Wilder. So whatever he says, I take it with a pinch of salt, I know it’s not personal…We shared some great fights over the years and I pray for him, 100%,” Fury said

While Wilder is currently preparing to face Derek Chisora on April 4, he did not hold back on his problems with Fury. When asked about fans who dismiss his claims of glove tampering and spiked water, Wilder did not hold back: “Come on, you cheat. I lift you up and fed your family…You going to cheat the man that really lift you up?! You think that’s of Christ? That ain’t of Christ, and anybody that agree with him during that time, may you burn in hell with him.”

Wilder’s most pressing issue is his next fight with Derek Chisora in April. The Bronze Bomber ended his two-fight losing streak by stopping Tyrrell Anthony Herndon last year. Wilder teamed up with his new trainer, Don House, for that fight. This was after Wilder left Malik Scott where he only secured one win from their four bouts. That was against Robert Helenius in 2022. That raised suggestions that Scott was at fault for trying to turn Wilder into a boxer rather than relying on his raw power and athleticism. Wilder did not blame Scott, as he was looking forward to the future.

“Malik and I never had a plan in place in terms of how long we would work together, but I think he did an amazing job. I could have had Emanuel Steward in my corner, and the results would have been the same because mentally I wasn’t there anymore. The results that happened when Malik was here were not his fault. The way I look at it, we both won. He built me up to where I am now mentally, and I helped him boost his resume as a trainer,” Wilder revealed
