Smith Vs. Eubank Jr Undercard Confirmed

The Liam Smith and Chris Eubank Jr. undercard has been announced. 

The two fighters will face each other in a rematch on September 2nd, 2023, at the AO Arena, Manchester.

Eubank will be aiming to gain revenge following his fourth-round TKO loss in the first fight.

“I’m glad that the date is set now and we can look forward to getting rid of this itch that needs scratching. I’m fully healed up now, injury-free, and I’m looking forward to finishing Chris Eubank Jr’s career on September 2,” Liam Smith

“No more excuses, no more postponements. Smith can’t run forever. September 2 is the day of my revenge,” Eubank Jr.

Smith Vs. Eubank Co-Main Event

While that may be the case, the undercard also promises to produce some entertaining fights. 

Dave Allen will face Frazer Clarke in a domestic clash at heavyweight which will serve as the co-main event.

Allen walked away from the sport in 2020 after claiming that he had lost love for the sport.

However, since then, Allen has returned as he was targets the big fights. Allen is undefeated in his last four bouts, as confidence is riding high. 

As for Clarke, his last fight was a win over former world title contender Mariuz Wach. And given that Clarke is working his way up the ranks, with seven wins that include 5 KOs, a victory over Allen would propel his profile among the British public. 

Other fights on the card include a welterweight clash between Florian Marku and Dylan Moran.

Meanwhile, Mark Heffron squares off against Jack Cullen in a super-middleweight title, while Ben Whittaker’s opponent hasn’t been officially announced.

So will Eubank Jr. be able to even the score by getting one over ‘Beefy Smith?’ And will Dave Allen be able to take his shot and score a shock victory over Frazer Clarke? Time will tell
