Shakur Stevenson Threatens Devin Haney In A Viral Social Media Blast

Shakur Stevenson hit back at Devin Haney in a back-and-forth on social media.

The two fighters have long been linked with facing each other when they were both at 135. However, Haney decided to move up to 140 in order to try and tackle Regis Prograis for his WBC belt.

As a result, Haney was stripped of his WBC belt at 135 as he became a champion in recess. This had the impact of making Shakur face Frank Martin for the belt.

Although that may have been the case, Haney did make an offer of 25 percent in order to face Shakur. The latter declined the offer on the basis that he felt it did not reflect his value.

As such, there were suggestions that Haney made a lowball offer in order to avoid the Shakur fight. And now Shakur has warned Haney that he will be in trouble if he is spotted without security due to the Dream’s comments on social media.

As a result, Shakur posted the video below of Devin’s father Bill Haney. The footage appears to suggest that Haney made the decision to move up to avoid the 135 pound division since Shakur may appear too good at the weight class.

“If it’s too hot at 30, we’ll go to 40,” Bill Haney

As a result, Shakur responded with numerous posts warning the Dream to be wary.
