Sean Strickland Blasts Tom Brady For Being Weak – ‘Man Up’
Sean Strickland has slammed Tom Brady after his reaction to being mocked on The Greatest Roast of All Time on Netflix.
The show streamed on Netflix on May 5. It drew in an audience of 2 million. The roast became one of the most-watched Netflix segments, hitting number six from April 29 to May 5. The roast was done to drive up the interest in Netflix. By the looks of it, this has gotten people talking.
But Brady regretted his attendance, saying some jokes impacted his kids. Comedian Kevin Hart mocked his divorce from Gisele Bundchen and his two retirements. His decision to continue playing American football was seen as one of the reasons why the couple split up. Based on his experience, Brady would not do it again.
Brady Reacts
“I loved when the jokes were about me. I thought they were so fun. [And] I didn’t like the way that it affected my kids. It was the bittersweet aspect of when you’re doing something you think is one way and then all of a sudden you realize I wouldn’t do that again because of the way it affected actually the people I care about the most in the world.
“It makes you in some ways a better parent going through it because sometimes you’re naive. It’s a good lesson for me as a parent, I’m gonna be a better parent as I go forward because of it. It’s simple. I can take all the hits. I would have done this earlier but I’ve been too busy winning championships,” Brady said
Strickland Responds
Strickland, however, is known for voicing his opinion. He has already had social media feuds with Jake Paul. He hit back at the Problem Child, who accused him of bullying when he beat up influencer Sneako during a sparring session. Paul asked Strickland to spar him, after which the UFC fighter stated he would take his life if he could.
Strickland also fired verbal shots at rapper Machine Gun Kelly when he met him at a Power Slap event. He referred to the rapper as the devil. During the build-up for his last fight against Dricus Du Plessis, Strickland even assaulted the fighter when they were in attendance to watch Leon Edwards vs Colby Covington. Based on Strickland’s following comments, he has no time for Brady.
“Tom Brady…What did he say, he got mad ‘Don’t talk about my wife like that!’. Listen, you…You signed up to be made fun of, and you can’t handle it? Don’t…do it. Me? I don’t know if I can handle it…but he handled it like a..woman. You act like a..girl, and you can pet goats..Man…up, no one thinks you’re tough Tom Brady, you’re made fun of [by] a..comedian,” Strickland stated
Brady has yet to respond to Strickland’s comments. But that has not prevented MMA fans from having their say, resulting in a very strong reaction.
