Abdul-Rakhman Yakhyaev dismisses MrBeast lookalike claims
Undefeated UFC heavyweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">light heavyweight Abdul-Rakhman Yakhyaev had never heard of MrBeast until fans started telling him they look alike.
Yakhyaev told Red Corner MMA he only learned about the YouTube star after knocking out Raffael Cerqueira at UFC Qatar in November, when social media erupted with side-by-side photos. The Turkish finisher checked out MrBeast's channel and came away unconvinced. "To be honest with you, I didn't even know who he was," Yakhyaev said, per Sherdog. "I don't think I look like him. People just imagine things. He needs to remove his mustache, I think."
Yakhyaev's finish rate and UFC record
The 27-year-old has stopped nine of his 10 career victims, with only two fights reaching the second round. His three UFC wins have a combined cage time of three minutes and 33 seconds, the shortest stretch for any active fighter with three or more promotional appearances.
Yakhyaev said he is not enjoying the MrBeast comparison. He remains unbeaten at 10-0 and is expected to face a ranked opponent when he returns later this year.
