Four fighters made their UFC debuts at UFC Sacramento on Saturday night, posting a combined 2-2 record inside Golden 1 Center.

Anthony Wint delivered the standout performance, submitting Terrance Chatman with an arm-triangle choke at 4:29 of the first round. Wint, who earned his contract on Contender Series just 11 days earlier, briefly found himself in trouble when Chatman locked up a kimura. "After playing it cool for a few seconds," MMA Mania reported, Wint powered out of the submission attempt and locked in the fight-ending choke. Despite his rawness, Wint showed a willingness to grapple rather than rely solely on his knockout power, earning him top marks for the night.

Dorsainvil Survives Rocky Start At UFC Sacramento

Stan Dorsainvil took a short-notice assignment against Gauge Young and battled back from a difficult opening round to win a unanimous decision. Young rocked the LFA veteran multiple times in the first five minutes, but Dorsainvil weathered the storm and answered with cleaner combinations in the second. He connected with two heavy right hooks late in round two that staggered Young, then survived another scare in the third before sliding off Young's back to secure the win. All three judges scored it 29-28, and MMA Mania described the comeback as an excellent debut that showcased heart and a well-rounded skill set.

Ryan Kuse had a rough night in his Octagon bow, stepping in on one week's notice against Marcio Barbosa. Kuse attempted two early takedowns, and when neither worked, Barbosa landed a glancing left hook that dropped him at 2:47 of round one. The stoppage came after Kuse failed to regain his footing, a disappointing result for a fighter who ran through regional opponents in 2022 but has since bounced between MMA and Karate Combat.

Chatman drew the toughest assignment of the four newcomers, facing Wint in what appeared to be a favorable matchup for the Contender Series graduate. The heavyweight never found his rhythm and was put to sleep midway through the opening frame. Wint faces Alvin Hines next if the UFC slow-rolls his development; Chatman may draw Elisha Ellison in a loser-leaves-town bout.
