UFC CEO Dana White called the 30-year-old heavyweight "a tank" in the post-fight press conference. Wint, now undefeated as a pro, joins a division that has added Gable Steveson, Valter Walker, and Josh Hokit in 2026.

The finish came before either fighter broke a sweat. Wint landed the first meaningful strike sequence, forced Adams to shoot, then controlled position on the mat and unleashed short punches until the stoppage at 34 seconds of Round 1.
