Will Zuckerberg Vs. Musk Happen In A Cage Fight?
According to reports, there are rumors that Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk may engage in a cage fight, following their exchange on Twitter.
This may not be the first thing that comes to mind when it comes to the two billionaires. Musk is known for his mega companies of SpaceX, Tesla and now Twitter. Meanwhile, Zuckerberg’s claim to fame was Facebook.
The idea of a fight, though, was suggested by Musk when he challenged Zuckerberg after hearing of his plans to create a new social media platform that would rival Twitter.
While Musk has claimed experience in "real hardcore street fights," as per his upbringing in South Africa, Zuckerberg is known for his grappling skills after winning a gold and silver medal in his first Brazilian jiu-jitsu competition.
I’m up for a cage match if he is lol

Zuckerberg was not put off by the idea, as he demanded the location. This echoed the behaviour of Khabib Nurmagomedov who sent a similar message to Conor McGregor as talks over their fight heated up.

I’ve confirmed that Mark Zuckerberg is serious about fighting @elonmusk and is now waiting on the details (if Musk decides to follow through)

Nevertheless, the chances of this happening may appear next to none. Musk is known for his Twitter banter after having called out Russian President Vladimir Putin for a fight.
This was in response to his country’s approach to the Ukrainian conflict, especially since Musk had been providing his Starlink services to Ukraine during the conflict to assist their wifi.
I hereby challenge
Владимир Путин

While that may have been the case, it was not surprising that nothing materialized when it came to a bout with Putin. But what it did show is that Musk is not short of poking people on social media.
And yet, this time around, this could be different. Jon Jones, the UFC heavyweight champion, has weighed in on the matter.
Having won the title after three years out of the cage by defeating Ciryl Gane, he showed support for Zuckerberg by offering to assist him in preparing for the fight.
You already know I am Team Zuck…. Let me know if you need a training partner!

And on top of that, Dana White has stated that the pair want to make it happen in what would be the biggest UFC event of all time.
"They both said, ‘yeah we’ll do it.’ They both want to do it. Mark Zuckerberg hit me up first and said, ‘is he serious?’ I said, ‘I don’t know, let me ask him’ and I asked him, and he said ‘yeah, I’m dead serious.’
"This would be the biggest fight ever in the history of the world. Bigger than anything that has ever been done. It would break all pay-per-view records, these guys would raise hundreds of millions of dollars for charity.
"You don’t have to be a fight fan to be interested in this fight. Everybody would want to see it. Listen, if these guys are serious, I make fights that people want to see, that’s what I do for a living.
"If they really want to do it and they’re serious and we can figure out a way to pull this off, I would absolutely, positively do this," White
But one thing that appears to be creating an issue is the weight class. According to TMZ, the size difference is a major problem.
Musk is over six foot and walks around at a weight between 185 and 200 lbs. In contrast, Zuckerberg is around ‘5’7′ and weighs approximately 155 lbs.
Clearly, the only way for there to be a fight would be to have a catchweight of some form.
But requiring Musk to drop down would appear unlikely, which is why Zuckerberg packing on the pounds may be a possibility.
Time will tell if it does happen. You can stay up-to-date with the latest happenings in the world of boxing by visiting boxingblitz right here.
