Wilder Sends Ruiz An Ultimatum – ‘Enough Is Enough'

Deontay Wilder and Andy Ruiz Jr. exchanged words in a recent back and forth over a possible fight.

Wilder is the hardest punching heavyweight out there, but he did come unstuck against Tyson Fury as he lost his WBC title.

In contrast, Ruiz Jr. has been on a rebuild following his defeat to Anthony Joshua. The Mexican was the former unified heavyweight champion.

"Wilder, we’re coming man, we’re just negotiating right now. Hey Andy. It’s time up for the games now buddy. Let’s get this fight on man. We offered you a hell of a lot of money.

"Now one thing I don’t want – I don’t want you to allow others to dictate your career at this moment in time. It’s only a short period of time that you have. You gotta man up to your responsibilities.

"Because if you allow others to dictate your life at this point in time, you’re gonna end up with nothing, zero, broke my man. Okay? So make wise decisions.

"I don’t have no more time to wait on you and this situation. We’ve offered you a lot of money and I think you should take it. The one thing I don’t want you to do though is allow others to dictate your career at this moment in time.

"You only have a limited time left to make as much money as you possibly can. Don’t allow others to interfere with this, you make the decision.

"It wouldn’t be fair to your or your kids for you to miss out on zeros because you allow others to interfere with your career at this moment in time.

"So think about it bro. Let’s get this thing done, get it signed sealed and delivered. I’m sick and tired of sitting around man. Let’s give the people what they’re asking for and what they want.

"Enough is enough. The ball’s in your court now, baby. Let’s get it. I’ll see you soon man," Wilder

"I can’t wait. If it does happen it’s a fantastic fight. I know Andy Ruiz, I know he likes to eat, but I’m telling you right now, if he fights Deontay Wilder he’s going to sleep," Bradley

The winner of a Wilder-Ruiz bout would end up becoming a mandatory for Fury’s WBC title.

That would increase the pressure on the ‘Gypsy King’ to either relinquish the belt, or agree to an undisputed fight Oleksandr Usyk, if he were to not the face the winner of Wilder-Ruiz.

After all, Fury does have some history with both fighters. The trilogy fight with Wilder was marred by accusations that Fury had tampered with his gloves.

Meanwhile, Ruiz had demanded $20 million to face Fury as the ‘Gypsy King’ struggles to find an opponent.

Aside from the chance to become a WBC mandatory, the winner of a potential Wilder-Ruiz fight could end up securing a mega fight in Saudi Arabia with Anthony Joshua.

Reports indicate that Saudi Arabia is considering a four-man heavyweight tournament in Saudi Arabia.

Therefore, a Wilder-Ruiz fight serves as a tune up in order to stay active, particularly for the ‘Bronze Bomber’ who would be a favorite going into the fight.

And that has been backed up by boxing experts, as Tim Bradley backed Wilder to stop Ruiz in dramatic fashion. His following comments confirmed as much.

"I can’t wait. If it does happen it’s a fantastic fight. I know Andy Ruiz, I know he likes to eat, but I’m telling you right now, if he fights Deontay Wilder he’s going to sleep," Bradley
