Dana White acknowledged the UFC addressed a confrontation involving Namo Fazil during Contender Series week but offered no details on what went down.
Fazil claimed last week that a group of Chechens confronted him while he was cutting weight for his Dana White's Contender Series bout with Kaik Brito, according to Sherdog. The incident allegedly turned physical and drew police involvement. Fazil went on to lose by knockout, a result that was celebrated online by several fighters including former welterweight title challenger Khamzat Chimaev.
