Weidman Jokes Hill Looks 'Pregnant' At Heavyweight

Chris Weidman says Jamahal Hill looks pregnant at heavyweight.

The former UFC middleweight champion and retired lightweight star Dustin Poirier roasted Hill's transformation during an episode of Deep Waters, MMA Fighting reports. The conversation turned to the UFC heavyweight roster's depth when Poirier cracked that Hill "counts as two of them."

"I see Jamahal too much, he's going to come at me. Saying he looks pregnant or something like that," Weidman said, per the report. "I love Jamahal. He makes fun of himself, so it's OK." Hill, who vacated the light heavyweight title due to injury after beating Glover Teixeira at UFC 283, has posted videos on social media poking fun at his new physique as he targets a run at heavyweight.

Weidman suggested Josh Hokit as Hill's ideal opponent if he wants a fast track to a title shot. Hokit, one of the most talked-about fighters on the roster for his cage work and controversial comments, would give Hill a path to championship contention with one win. "He's in there to try to win one fight and fight for the title," Weidman said. "I think that's why he wants to go up to heavyweight. I think he thinks it's the easier way."

Hill has not won a fight since beating Teixeira in January 2023. He lost his comeback bout to Alex Pereira at UFC 300.
