VICE Releases Full Jason Miller Episode On YouTube

VICE TV posted the full 44-minute Jason Miller documentary from Dark Side of the Cage season two on YouTube this week, per MMA Mania.

The episode covers Miller's run as one of the sport's first true crossover personalities, competing for UFC, WEC, DREAM and Strikeforce before hosting MTV's Bully Beatdown for three seasons. Miller fought Georges St-Pierre, Michael Bisping, Jake Shields, Robbie Lawler and Ronaldo Souza during a middleweight career that included coaching opposite Bisping on The Ultimate Fighter 14.

Strikeforce Brawl and Downward Spiral

The documentary revisits Miller's role in the 2010 Strikeforce Nashville brawl, which erupted on live television when he interrupted Shields' post-fight interview to demand a rematch. After UFC released him in 2012, Miller's life unraveled through addiction struggles, multiple arrests, a SWAT standoff, jail time and a period of homelessness.

St-Pierre, Randy Couture, referee John McCarthy and members of Miller's family appear in the episode alongside Miller himself. The film documents his path toward sobriety and a new chapter as a coach and mentor.

Dark Side of the Cage season two continues with episodes on Phil Baroni, Don Frye, Chael Sonnen, Tito Ortiz, Mark Coleman and the McGregor-Nurmagomedov rivalry from UFC 229.
