Usman Nurmagomedov And Colgan Make Weight For PFL New York

Usman Nurmagomedov and Archie Colgan both weighed in at 154.8 pounds at Friday's ceremonial weigh-ins for their PFL lightweight title fight. The undefeated pair will clash July 31 at UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York, with Nurmagomedov bringing a 21-0 record against Colgan's 13-0 mark, per MMA Mania.

Dakota Ditcheva returned to the scale after a year away from competition and hit 125.8 pounds for her flyweight bout against Denise Kielholtz. The PFL standout is one of the heaviest betting favourites in recent MMA history going into the co-main event. Kielholtz, a longtime Bellator veteran, came in well under the limit at 121.8 pounds.

Ceremonial Faceoffs At PFL New York Weigh-Ins

Both title fights are now official after the morning weigh-ins. Nurmagomedov and Colgan locked eyes during the ceremonial faceoff later in the day, while Ditcheva and Kielholtz also met on stage. The main card streams on ESPN at 8 p.m. ET, with prelims on the ESPN app.

The undercard features Raufeon Stots against Lazaro Dayron at bantamweight, both fighters making 136 pounds. Montana De La Rosa and Tatiana Postarnakova also matched at 125.8 pounds on the early portion of the card. Amru Magomedov and Angel Alvarez weighed in slightly over the lightweight non-title limit at 155.6 and 156.2 pounds respectively for their main-card bout.
