Two suspects in UFC White House terror plot plead not guilty
Two men charged in connection with an alleged plot to attack UFC Freedom 250 at the White House last month have pleaded not guilty.
The defendants are among eight individuals indicted for their suspected involvement in a planned drone and sniper assault on the event, according to ESPN. The charges stem from what authorities say was a thwarted attack on the UFC card held at the White House in January.
What the indictments allege about the UFC attack plan
Federal prosecutors say the group plotted to use aerial and ground-based weapons to target the venue during the event. No details have been released about how the plot was discovered or disrupted.
The other six defendants have not yet entered pleas. Court dates for the remaining suspects have not been announced.
