UFC Signs Raul Rosas Jr.'s Brother

The UFC has signed Jessie Rosas, the older brother of rising bantamweight Raul Rosas Jr., with a debut set for Aug. 8 at UFC Fight Night 284 in Las Vegas, Sherdog reports.

Jessie, 23, brings an 8-1 record built across the regional circuit, including stints with Urijah Faber's A1 Combat, Fury FC, and 559 Fights. Six of his eight wins have come by finish — two knockouts and four submissions. He will face Miles Johns, a UFC veteran on a three-fight skid, in his promotional bow at the Meta Apex.

Raul Rosas Jr.'s Rise Sets Stage For Family Debut

The signing comes as younger brother Raul rides a five-fight win streak after bouncing back from his first professional loss. The 21-year-old made his UFC debut at just 18 and most recently outpointed Rob Font in a decision victory that elevated his profile in the bantamweight division.

Jessie is two years Raul's senior but took a different path to the Octagon, logging more experience on the regional scene before earning the call. Johns, meanwhile, holds a 6-5 UFC record but has dropped three straight and will look to halt the slide against the promotional newcomer.

UFC Fight Night 284 takes place Aug. 8 at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas.
