UFC Shanghai fight card set for Aug. 29 on Paramount+
UFC Shanghai will take place Aug. 29 at Shanghai Indoor Stadium with Umar Nurmagomedov facing Song Yadong in the bantamweight headliner, MMA Mania reports.
The Paramount+ main card begins at 6 a.m. ET following prelims that start at 3 a.m. ET due to the time zone difference. Nurmagomedov opened as a substantial betting favorite over Song, according to early odds released this week.

The main card features a women's strawweight bout between Xiaonan Yan and Denise Gomes plus a flyweight matchup pitting Alex Perez against Sumudaerji. Bantamweights Aoriqileng and Kai Asakura round out the announced main card fights.
Preliminary action includes flyweight Rei Tsuruya against Kevin Borjas and heavyweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">light heavyweight Junior Tafa meeting Ce Liu. The promotion noted that the fight card, bout order, and number of contests remain subject to change as the event approaches.
