UFC and Paramount Expand Canada Deal Through 2032
Paramount+ will become the exclusive Canadian home for UFC numbered event main cards beginning in 2027, the promotion announced Thursday, giving subscribers live access to all 13 marquee cards annually at no additional cost under a six-year deal.
The agreement extends Paramount's seven-year multi-territory UFC rights package announced in 2025, which already covers the United States, Latin America, and Australia. Numbered events — traditionally sold as pay-per-views — typically feature championship bouts and the promotion's biggest stars. Canadian subscribers will no longer pay separately for those main cards once the deal kicks in.
White Cites Easier Access for Canadian Fans
"Beginning in 2027, Paramount+ subscribers in Canada will get every UFC Numbered Event main card live, at no additional cost," UFC president Dana White said in a statement. "Paramount has been an incredible partner that understands the power of UFC, and together we're going to make it easier than ever for fans in Canada to watch the biggest fights in the sport."
Paramount's existing UFC partnership launched in the U.S. and Latin America earlier this year with what the streaming service called its biggest exclusive live event in history. More than 10 million households have watched over 100 million hours of UFC content on Paramount+ to date, representing viewership more than 15 times the average pay-per-view event over the past two years, according to the company.
UFC has held 37 events across 11 Canadian cities since debuting in the country with UFC 83 in Montreal in 2008. Those cards have showcased Georges St-Pierre, Jon Jones, Jose Aldo, Valentina Shevchenko, and Max Holloway, among others. Details on the first events to stream under the new Canada deal will be announced later this year.
