UFC Numbered Events Coming To Paramount+ in Canada
Canadian UFC fans will no longer pay individually for numbered events from 2027 as Paramount+ will become the exclusive home of all UFC numbered event main cards in Canada under a six-year agreement.
The deal covers all 13 numbered event main cards per year, ending a model that had Canadian fans paying approximately $70 per event, a bill approaching $1,000 annually for anyone following the full slate of numbered cards. The arrangement expands the Paramount and TKO partnership.
The announcement represents a significant shift in how Canadian fans access the UFC's premium content, removing the per-event paywall that had made following the sport an expensive commitment.
Canada has been one of the UFC's most historically significant international markets. The promotion debuted in the country with UFC 83 in Montreal in 2008 and has since staged 37 premier events across 11 cities, with Canadian fighters consistently among the sport's most prominent names.
The shift to a streaming model from 2027 reflects both the global direction of combat sports broadcasting and the UFC's interest in growing its subscriber base in a market where the sport already has deep roots.
“Beginning in 2027, Paramount+ subscribers in Canada will get every UFC Numbered Event main card live, at no additional cost. Paramount has been an incredible partner that understands the power of UFC, and together we’re going to make it easier than ever for fans in Canada to watch the biggest fights in the sport. I love Canada and I’m very excited for the fans to be able to enjoy the Paramount experience,” Dana White
"UFC is one of the most dynamic live sports properties in the world and we are thrilled to bring Paramount+ subscribers in Canada into the Octagon in 2027 for no additional cost. Expanding our partnership into Canada lets us serve a deeply engaged MMA audience, while reinforcing what Paramount+ is built for: premium live sports and globally relevant entertainment,” Rodrigo Mazón (Paramount+’s Head of Direct-To-Consumer in Latin America and Canada)
