UFC Fighters Face Death Threats, Lineker Returns

Dan Hooker has reportedly received death threats after his latest fight, MMA Mania reports. The New Zealand lightweight remains a polarizing figure among fans, but the threats represent a disturbing escalation in online harassment targeting UFC fighters.

Meanwhile, former UFC flyweight contender John Lineker continues his career outside the Octagon. Per the same MMA Mania story, Lineker is still competing at a high level, bringing his trademark knockout power to regional circuits. The Brazilian built his reputation on an all-action style that earned him a 14-6 UFC record before his 2022 release.

Petrosyan Returns at UFC 331

Armen Petrosyan has been booked for UFC 331, according to MMA Mania. The middleweight returns after a decision loss earlier this year, looking to rebound in what will be his sixth Octagon appearance. No opponent has been announced for the card.

The death threat report against Hooker follows a pattern of fighters dealing with online abuse tied to betting losses. UFC officials have not commented on security measures for affected athletes. Petrosyan's UFC 331 bout is expected to be finalized in the coming weeks.
