UFC 329 bout order confirmed for Conor McGregor return
The UFC has confirmed the full bout order for UFC 329, which features Conor McGregor's return to the Octagon after nearly five years away from competition.
McGregor headlines the July 11 card at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas opposite Max Holloway in a welterweight clash, according to Sherdog. The Irishman last fought in July 2021, when he suffered a broken leg in a loss to Dustin Poirier. McGregor previously defeated Holloway by unanimous decision at featherweight back in August 2013.
Main card features Pimblett, Whittaker moves to 205
The main card on Paramount+ starts at 9 p.m. ET and includes Paddy Pimblett against Benoit St. Denis, plus Mario Bautista versus Cory Sandhagen. Robert Whittaker makes his heavyweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">light heavyweight debut against Nikita Krylov on the prelims, while Gable Steveson gets his first Octagon appearance against Elisha Ellison.
Early prelims begin at 5 p.m. ET with a featured flyweight bout between Tracy Cortez and Cong Wang. The preliminary card at 7 p.m. ET also showcases Cody Garbrandt taking on Adrian Yanez.
The full lineup includes King Green versus Terrance McKinney on the main card, with Lone'er Kavanagh meeting Brandon Royval in a flyweight contest. Weigh-ins are scheduled for July 10.
