Tyson Confirms Las Vegas Immersive Attraction

Mike Tyson will headline a new permanent attraction at the Flamingo Las Vegas this fall that uses augmented reality, virtual reality, and holograms to chronicle his boxing career and personal life.

The Ring Magazine reports that "Iron Mike Legacy: The Mike Tyson Immersive Experience" will occupy 12,000 square feet across seven rooms, taking visitors through roughly an hour of content covering Tyson's rise to heavyweight champion, his struggles outside the ring, and his life after boxing. Tickets begin at $59 and can be reserved online or at Caesars Entertainment box offices.

WBC Partnership And Global Expansion Plans

The attraction is being produced by Your ID and marks the first officially licensed immersive installation dedicated to the former heavyweight champion. The WBC has signed on as an official partner, and organizers have mapped out a global expansion beyond the Las Vegas flagship location, though additional sites have not been announced.

"Las Vegas has been the backdrop for some of the most important moments of my life and career," Tyson said in a statement, per The Ring. "The city embraced me, challenged me and helped shape the person I am today. That's why it's so meaningful to launch Iron Mike Legacy at Flamingo Las Vegas, one of the most legendary resorts on The Strip."

The installation will use projection mapping technology and spatial audio alongside the augmented and virtual reality components. The Flamingo location opens this fall as a year-round permanent fixture.
