Tyson Fury return vs. Mariusz Wach won't air live

Tom Rashid

Tyson Fury's comeback fight against Mariusz Wach will not air live anywhere.

Sherdog reports that the July 24 bout at Muay Thai Stadium in Pattaya, Thailand, will be recorded exclusively for Fury's Netflix series "At Home with the Furys" rather than broadcast on any channel or streaming platform. The unusual arrangement means fans will have to wait to see the former champion's second fight since consecutive title losses to Oleksandr Usyk in 2024.

Joshua gets live broadcast while Fury records for Netflix

The contrast with Anthony Joshua's schedule is stark. Joshua faces Kristian Prenga on July 25 at Jeddah Superdome in Saudi Arabia, and that fight will stream live on DAZN. Both English heavyweights are treating their July opponents as tune-ups before a planned superfight later this year.

Fury stopped Arslanbek Makhmudov in his last outing, marking his first ring appearance since the back-to-back defeats to Usyk. Joshua rebounded from a loss to Daniel Dubois by stopping Jake Paul in his most recent fight. Fury carries a 35-2 record into the Wach bout, while Joshua sits at 29-4.

The Fury-Joshua superfight remains without a confirmed date, though both camps have indicated the matchup will happen after their July tune-ups are complete.
