Turki Alalshikh holds boxing promoter summit without Dana White
Turki Alalshikh's promoter peace summit took place in London on Tuesday without Dana White or any representative from Zuffa Boxing present.
The Saudi power broker, who owns a 60% controlling stake in Zuffa Boxing through Sela and a 10% piece of DAZN, gathered executives from Matchroom, Queensberry, and Gold Star for a four-hour meeting, per MMA Mania. Alalshikh posted a group photo on social media with the caption: "Great meeting with our brothers and partners...will affect the future...for more than four hours we talked about everything." The UFC CEO was nowhere in the shot.
Why Zuffa Boxing stayed away from peace talks
White came into boxing vowing to crush the competition, and Zuffa has spent less than a year signing top talent while its Muhammad Ali Revival Act nears passage. That legislation would let the promotion run boxing the same way it runs the UFC. According to the report, the other promoters have criticized Zuffa's early events, but the upstart company already controls a significant portion of the sport.
Alalshikh later posted a separate image of TKO board member and Zuffa boss Nick Khan, suggesting the relationship with White's operation sits on a different level than his dealings with legacy promoters. The Saudi also pays Queensberry, Matchroom, and Gold Star to run his Ring-branded events, putting most of boxing's power structure on his payroll.
MMA Mania notes the summit comes as Alalshikh works to finalize Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury for Riyadh Season 2026, which starts in October. Whether the meeting stops the public feuding between White and Matchroom's Eddie Hearn remains to be seen — none of the promoters sound interested in making peace if it means watching Zuffa gain more ground.
