Turhan Signs With Paul's Most Valuable Promotions

James Wright
Senior Boxing Writer ·

Women's IBF lightweight champion Elif Nur Turhan has signed with Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions, ESPN reports.

Turhan, who holds the 135-pound title, becomes the latest addition to MVP's expanding roster. The promotional outfit has steadily built its stable since Paul co-founded the company alongside adviser Nakisa Bidarian.

What Turhan's MVP Deal Means For Lightweight Division

The move gives MVP its first women's world champion at lightweight. Turhan won the vacant IBF strap earlier this year and has defended it once.

Paul's promotion has previously signed fighters including Amanda Serrano, the seven-division champion who headlined alongside Paul in his crossover events. Turhan's addition signals continued investment in the women's side of the sport.

No date has been announced for Turhan's first fight under the MVP banner.
