TKO Confirms UFC Freedom 250 Lost $30M At White House

TKO Group Holdings lost approximately $30 million staging UFC Freedom 250 at the White House earlier this year, the company disclosed in its latest earnings report.

The invite-only event generated no ticket revenue, though the promotion partially offset costs through sponsorship deals and commercial partnerships, according to Sherdog. TKO chief financial officer Andrew Schleimer told investors the loss meaningfully impacted margins across both the UFC division and the consolidated business.

How Commercial Partnerships Cut Projected Losses In Half

Initial projections suggested the White House event could cost upwards of $60 million, but additional commercial agreements helped reduce the final figure. "We incurred significantly higher than normal costs, which we partially offset with sold-out global partnerships inventory," Schleimer said during the investor call, per the report. "Given the event's profile, which as anticipated, resulted in an approximate $30 million loss, our margins at UFC as well as on a consolidated basis were meaningfully impacted."

The financial hit did little to dampen TKO's overall second-quarter performance. UFC revenue climbed 29% year-over-year, rising from $419.8 million in Q2 2025 to $535.7 million in the same period this year.

TKO has not disclosed whether it plans to stage another White House event in the future.
