Till Blasts Cormier Over UFC Commentary Bias

Former UFC welterweight contender Darren Till has joined the growing chorus of fighters criticizing Daniel Cormier's commentary work, accusing the Hall of Famer of bias and inauthentic analysis.

Till, who parted ways with the promotion in 2023, told The Ariel Helwani Show that he sees through Cormier's approach to analyzing fights. He said the two-time UFC champion shows favoritism toward fighters with certain backgrounds and refuses to speak his mind on controversial moments, per BJPenn.com.

Till Questions Cormier's Analysis Credentials

The former title challenger pointed to Cormier's defense of Usman Nurmagomedov rushing the cage at UFC Shanghai earlier this year as an example of questionable commentary. Till claimed he has no patience for what he views as dishonest analysis, though he acknowledged Cormier's credentials as a fighter.

Cormier has faced mounting criticism from multiple fighters in recent weeks. Former heavyweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">light heavyweight title challenger Dominick Reyes went after the commentator online following UFC 333, while bantamweight Sean O'Malley questioned whether Cormier dislikes him after the Hall of Famer endorsed Song Yadong for a title shot against current champion Petr Yan.
