Payton Talbott destroyed former flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo in just over two minutes at UFC 332, stopping him with punches at 2:09 of the first round in Salt Lake City.
The 28-year-old bantamweight carved through Figueiredo's defenses and finished the Brazilian with ground strikes, extending his UFC run to 5-1 overall. Figueiredo has now dropped three straight and gone 1-5 in his last six Octagon appearances since moving up from flyweight. The former champ entered off back-to-back losses to Umar Nurmagomedov and Song Yadong, and the skid continued in brutal fashion against Talbott, who was coming off a decision win over Henry Cejudo at UFC 323, per BJ Penn.
