Super RIZIN 5 Set For Sept. 10 In Osaka

Super RIZIN 5 takes place Wednesday, Sept. 10 at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan, headlined by a historic dual-promotion featherweight title fight between PFL champion A.J. McKee and RIZIN champion Rajabali Shaidullaev.

The card streams on internet pay-per-view via rizin.tv starting at 3 a.m. ET, per MMA Mania. McKee puts his PFL strap on the line while Shaidullaev defends his RIZIN belt in a rare cross-promotional unification bout.

The co-main event features Mikuru Asakura against Shinya Aoki at lightweight, with Karshyga Dautbek facing Ren Hiramoto also on the main card. The undercard includes Roberto de Souza versus Shunta Nomura, Yutaka Saito against Ya-Man, and Vugar Karamov taking on Ryo Takagi at featherweight.

RENA meets Natasha Kuziutincca at 108 pounds in a featured bout. The card also includes an open-finger glove kickboxing match between Beynoah and Hide Meison Usami at lightweight.

The event marks the latest collaboration between PFL and RIZIN following their partnership announcement earlier this year. McKee enters off his first career loss at featherweight and has previously stated he was done with the weight class, making the Shaidullaev fight a potential final appearance at 145 pounds.
