Stamp Fairtex Faces Flores At ONE Fight Night 47

Stamp Fairtex returns to ONE Championship's Bangkok ring on September 4 hunting something she has not done since recovering from serious injury: string together back-to-back wins.

The former three-division ONE champion faces Selina Flores in an atomweight Muay Thai matchup at ONE Fight Night 47, streaming live on Prime Video from Lumpinee Stadium, according to BJPenn.com. Flores carries a five-fight winning streak into the bout after beating Marie McManamon at ONE Fight Night 36 earlier this year, and a win over Stamp could push her into title contention against reigning atomweight champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues.

Stamp's Comeback Trail Hits Speed Bump

Stamp once held ONE's atomweight MMA, Muay Thai, and kickboxing titles simultaneously before a lengthy rehab stint forced her off the circuit. The 28-year-old scraped past Cynthia Flores via split decision in June at The Inner Circle 20 but nearly lost after absorbing heavy damage in the opening round. Flores, a multi-time WBC Muay Thai world champion, brings her own momentum as the fighter known as "Teep Queen" looks to derail Stamp's attempt at building a new win streak.

The same card features Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi chasing his 61st career win while trying to snap a three-fight skid. The 24-year-old last won with a 52-second head-kick finish of Nakrob Fairtex that earned him a $50,000 bonus. He meets Jordan Estupinan, who opened his ONE run 9-0 before consecutive losses stalled his climb.
