Sean Strickland rips Justin Gaethje manager Ali Abdelaziz
Sean Strickland went after Justin Gaethje's manager in a social media post this week, declaring he would never sign with Ali Abdelaziz regardless of the money involved.
The UFC middleweight champion posted on X that he likes Gaethje but takes issue with his manager, referencing past allegations against Abdelaziz. "His manager Ali was arrested for being a f*cking terrorist then snitched on his terrorist boys," Strickland wrote, per Sherdog. "He could offer me a billion dollars to manage me and [I'd] tell him to get f*cked because I'm an American."
Feud stems from White House event snub
The back-and-forth between Strickland and Gaethje started ahead of the lightweight champion's win over Ilia Topuria earlier this month at UFC White House. Strickland was not invited to the event, and when a fan suggested boycotting in solidarity, Gaethje opposed the idea. That sparked a heated exchange between the two fighters online.
Strickland holds a 30-7 record while Gaethje improved to 28-5 with the Topuria victory. Abdelaziz manages multiple UFC champions through his Dominance MMA agency.
