Sean Strickland Ejected From UFC Fan Fest After Security Breach

Tom Rashid
UFC & MMA Lead Writer ·

Former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland was escorted out by security after sneaking into the promotion's Fan Fest event in Washington D.C. over the weekend.

Strickland, who is not currently scheduled to compete, apparently attempted to gain entry to the fan gathering without proper credentials, according to Sherdog. The incident was documented on Strickland's own social media, where he posted about the encounter with security personnel.

Strickland's Latest Stunt Following White House Event

The Fan Fest removal came shortly after the UFC held its unprecedented 'Freedom 250' event at the White House, which drew significant attention from the combat sports world. Strickland has been active on social media in recent weeks despite lacking a confirmed next opponent.

The former champion last fought in June 2024, losing a split decision to Dricus du Plessis in a title bout. No official statement from the UFC regarding the security incident has been released.
