Joe Rogan believes 21-year-old heavyweight Moses Itauma could become this generation's Mike Tyson.

The UFC commentator praised Itauma's speed and technical ability on a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, according to BJ Penn.com. Rogan told listeners the British prospect is "the future of boxing" and drew a direct comparison to Tyson's early rise through the heavyweight ranks.

Rogan On Itauma's Mike Tyson-Level Potential

"There's Moses Itauma who people don't really know about enough yet; I think he is the future of boxing," Rogan said. "Wow, that guy is good; he's dynamite, he's so fast and so good. He's so slick with how he moves in and out; he's the future. I mean, he's like our generation's Mike Tyson where you watch him, and he's coming up, and you're like 'Holy s—'."

Itauma will challenge Filip Hrgovic for the IBF heavyweight championship later this month. A victory could position the 21-year-old for a shot at Oleksandr Usyk, Anthony Joshua, or Tyson Fury.
