Luke Rockhold accuses Sean Strickland of beating training partners

Former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold has publicly blasted Sean Strickland for allegedly mistreating sparring partners at Rockhold's training facility.

Rockhold told his social media followers that Strickland arrived at the gym and went after younger fighters who were there to help him prepare, per Sherdog. "Sean is truly a piece of shit," Rockhold said in a video posted online. "He showed up on our doorstep, and he was just a loud idiot. He was trying to beat up kids who were helping him and trying to knock them out consistently after he already hurt them."

Rockhold says Strickland crossed the line in sparring sessions

The accusation centers on gym etiquette and the unwritten rules of sparring, where partners are expected to help each other improve rather than inflict unnecessary damage. Rockhold claimed Strickland continued attacking sparring partners even after they sustained injuries during the sessions.

Rockhold added that Strickland is not someone he wants around his facility. "He's not one of those guys I like to be around," he said in the clip that circulated across social media platforms this week.

Strickland has not publicly responded to the allegations. He is currently scheduled to face Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 328 in Saudi Arabia on April 12.
