Raul Rosas Jr. Stops Raoni Barcelos

Raul Rosas Jr. extended his win streak to six, stopping Raoni Barcelos in the fifth round of his first main event appearance at UFC Apex.

The fight turned into a back-and-forth battle, with Rosas surviving a dangerous rear-naked choke attempt from Barcelos before rallying deep into the championship rounds.

Rosas Jr. eventually found the finish in round five, taking Barcelos down before closing it out with follow-up strikes that left the Brazilian visibly spent — he was later taken to a hospital for tests as a precaution.

The win over the No. 8-ranked Barcelos puts Rosas, still just 24, within reach of a top-10 bantamweight ranking. He became the youngest fighter to ever sign with the UFC at 17 back in 2022 and is now the youngest to headline a UFC card.
