Marwan Rahiki says Tommy McMillen's UFC striking record reveals a fundamental flaw heading into their September showdown.

Rahiki Questions McMillen's Finishing Ability

Rahiki told MMA Junkie that breaking a significant strikes record is nothing to celebrate. "Finish the fight in the first round," he said. "I don't care about significants. I never think, 'I'm going to land the more significant strikes.' That means you don't have knockout power. That means it takes you that long."

McMillen drowned Alberto Montes with volume in his previous fight before securing a late third-round finish and his second UFC bonus. Rahiki, who sits 9-0 with two UFC wins, welcomed the booking despite the quick turnaround and said the matchup excited him more than any other in his career.

Rahiki predicted the bout would end early if McMillen presses forward with his aggressive style. "If he comes forward, it will be done quick," he said. "If he stays smart, he might survive a couple of minutes. But the result will be the same."
