O'Shaquie Foster says sparring sessions with Shakur Stevenson were one-sided
O'Shaquie Foster claims his sparring sessions with Shakur Stevenson were entirely one-sided, challenging the unified champion to confirm what happened behind closed doors.
“He knows what it is, man. He knows what happened in those sparring sessions. It wasn't just one, it was several, and he knows I'm not lying, I don't tell lies. I would tell y'all if it was a back-and-forth but it was one-sided and he knows that.”

What O'Shaquie Foster said
Foster and Stevenson have circled each other at lightweight for months. Foster held the WBC belt before losing it to Robson Conceição last year. Stevenson unified three belts at featherweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">super-featherweight before moving up. The two have never met in a professional ring, but Foster says their gym work tells a different story.
What it moves
Foster's comments put pressure on Stevenson to address the sparring claims or dismiss them. If the two do eventually meet, Foster now has a public narrative that he dominated Stevenson in training. Stevenson has yet to respond to the assertions.
