Abdullah Mason says he is ready to fight for all the lightweight belts. The unbeaten American told Ring Magazine he wants to prove himself against the division's best.

“I'm very interested. In boxing, you've got to prove that you're the best in the sport, so that's what I'm open to doing. I'm open to proving that, and whoever I step in the ring with, I'm definitely open to making it happen.”

What Abdullah Mason said

Mason competes at lightweight, where several world titles remain split across multiple sanctioning bodies. A unification bout would settle the pecking order and establish a clear champion. Mason has made his willingness to face any available titleholder public.

What it moves

The statement puts pressure on rival lightweight champions to accept a challenge. Mason's camp will now wait to see whether the other belt-holders respond or whether promotional hurdles block a unification from taking shape.
