Katie Taylor eyes Croke Park swansong after talks with promoter
Katie Taylor has confirmed she is targeting a retirement fight at Croke Park. The undisputed lightweight champion told BBC Sport that a homecoming bout in Dublin is the only goal left on her bucket list.
“I had a conversation with Eddie [Hearn, promoter] after the last fight and I said, 'what else is there to chase other than Croke Park?'”

What Katie Taylor said
Taylor has fought her entire professional career outside Ireland, building her legacy across the United States and the United Kingdom. Croke Park, the GAA's flagship stadium in Dublin, would mark a return to the city where she won five consecutive World Championship golds as an amateur. The venue has hosted major boxing events before but never a world title fight of this magnitude.
What it moves
Taylor's remarks suggest she is entering the final phase of her career. If the Dublin fight happens, the question becomes who crosses the ring. A third Amanda Serrano meeting would draw the biggest crowd, but any champion willing to travel would give Taylor the send-off she wants on home soil.
