The former two-division UFC champion posted on social media questioning Gane's resume, per Sherdog, after Tom Aspinall exited the heavyweight title picture. Pereira shared an image of Gane with a caption reading "That's the 'You aren't fighting for the title but you are still getting 10 million' smile."

Gane's Title Credentials Under Fire

The jab comes as debate continues over Gane's status in the heavyweight division. Dana White previously stated Gane was never undisputed champion, though UFC records list his interim title reign differently.

Pereira's trolling adds fuel to ongoing questions about which heavyweights deserve the next crack at gold. Gane has not publicly responded to the light heavyweight champion's social media dig.
