MVPW-04 results: Delgado, Alegria win world titles in Orlando
Nataly Delgado and Estefany Alegria won world titles at MVPW-04 in Orlando on Friday night, while two other champions retained their belts in a split decision card.
Delgado took the WBA flyweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">super flyweight strap from Jasmine Artiga on unanimous 97-93 scorecards, per Bad Left Hook. The 31-year-old Panamanian had dropped a world title shot in 2021 and held the WBA interim belt since July 2025 before getting her chance against the Tampa-based Artiga, who rallied late but couldn't close the gap. Artiga falls to 15-1-1 with seven knockouts.
Alegria dominates Bermudez for three belts
Mexico's Estefany Alegria pulled a bigger upset, taking the WBA, IBF, and WBO titles from Evelin Bermudez with a lopsided performance. Two judges scored it 99-91 and the third had it 100-90, according to the report. Alegria pressured relentlessly and earned MVP's 20,000-dollar Performance of the Night bonus. The 15-1 fighter with four knockouts broke down Bermudez, who entered 22-1-1, over ten rounds.
Oshae Jones kept her IBF welterweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">super welterweight title by the slimmest margin, drawing 10 rounds with Elia Carranza in a rematch of a controversial November 2024 bout. One judge scored it even at 95-95, while the other two split 96-94 in opposite directions. The first fight saw one judge give Carranza a 100-90 shutout despite Jones winning on the other two cards.
Tiara Brown defended her WBC featherweight belt against Hannah Rapp on scores of 97-93, 99-91, and 99-91. The 38-year-old remains unbeaten at 21-0 and has made two defenses since upsetting Skye Nicolson in March 2025. Rapp dropped to 8-1-1. Jones-Carranza 3 appears likely given the lack of depth at 154 pounds.
