Michael 'Venom' Page scraped out a unanimous decision over Nursulton Ruziboev at UFC Paris on Saturday, landing just 12 significant strikes across three rounds in a performance that drew boos from the crowd.

Page, who fought out his UFC contract with the win, told the promotion afterward that he held himself back. "Sometimes I want it to be too clean, too just precise," he said, per MMA Fighting. "I just know to myself, I know there's more and it's frustrating as I get to the cage, I feel like I'm holding back. The fans deserve more, the UFC deserves more. I know I can give more."

What Page's Contract Status Means For His UFC Future

The 39-year-old welterweight has gone six fights without a finish since joining the UFC, a stark departure from the knockout artist who built his reputation in Bellator. Page acknowledged he may need to adjust his approach to draw opponents forward, even if it makes him "slightly less dangerous" in exchange for higher output.

With his deal complete, Page said he will sit down with UFC brass for what he called an honest conversation. "Give me better opponents and have faith I can go deliver something special for the crowd," he said. Whether the promotion extends an offer or Page tests free agency in 2027 remains to be seen.
