MVP CEO guarantees every fighter $40,000 for Netflix card

MVP CEO Nakisa Bidarian has set a $40,000 guaranteed purse for every fighter on the promotion's Netflix card headlined by Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano, according to Sherdog.

The guarantee comes with no show-win split, meaning athletes pocket the full amount whether they win or lose. Bidarian also confirmed that performance bonuses are available on top of the base pay, with tiers dependent on factors he did not specify publicly.

How the MVP pay structure compares to UFC

"That's all guaranteed, and then every fighter has a performance bonus in addition to that, which there are different levels depending on the…" Bidarian said in a statement shared on social media, per the report.

The policy stands in contrast to the UFC's longstanding show-win model, under which fighters receive half their contracted purse for showing up and the other half only if they win. Entry-level UFC deals typically start at $12,000 to show and $12,000 to win, putting the guaranteed floor at half that amount.

The Netflix event is scheduled to stream globally, with all fighters having made weight for their respective bouts.
