MMA Mania Opens Taco Tuesday Discussion Thread

MMA Mania posted its weekly open discussion thread with a Taco Tuesday theme, inviting readers to share their preferred taco preparations.

The site's Tim Edwards, who covers UFC events and occasional sumo content, told readers he was making turkey tacos with lettuce, bell pepper, and onion. "Not terribly innovative, but that's the way my kid likes them," he wrote in the Tuesday post.

Sumo Championship League Pushes For US Audience

Edwards used the thread to promote Sumo Championship League, which held its debut event several weeks ago. The fledgling promotion is attempting to establish a sustained American sumo circuit, per the MMA Mania report.

The open thread format has become a regular feature on combat sports sites, blending off-topic conversation with occasional fight news updates. Edwards mentioned turkey tacos and tacos al pastor in his writeup while pointing readers toward recipe links.

MMA Mania also promoted its mobile app for iOS and Android in the same post, packaging fight coverage and community discussions in a single platform.
