Staff writer Tim Edwards, who has covered combat sports since 2015, opened the Tuesday discussion by citing Pacific Rim 2 as his personal disappointment. "I really loved the first one," he wrote, per the post. "It came at a time when the 'existing IP' age was starting to take over and it felt really fresh and fun."
Leduc's absence from major MMA promotions noted
Edwards also noted that lethwei champion Dave Leduc never landed with a major MMA organization despite his striking credentials. Leduc competed primarily in bare-knuckle lethwei bouts in Myanmar and has not signed with the UFC, Bellator, or ONE Championship to date.
