MMA divisional rankings: Du Plessis holds position after UFC 327
Dricus Du Plessis has kept his spot in the latest pound-for-pound rankings despite successfully defending his middleweight title at UFC 327.
ESPN's updated divisional rankings, which track the best fighters across UFC, PFL and other promotions, show the South African champion unchanged after his recent win. Du Plessis defended the strap earlier this month but did not climb or fall in the overall pecking order, per ESPN's rankings panel.
Where Du Plessis stands among middleweight elite
The rankings account for performance across all major MMA promotions, weighing recent form and level of competition. Du Plessis entered the UFC 327 card already established in the middleweight top tier, and his title defence maintained rather than shifted his standing.
ESPN refreshes its divisional rankings periodically to reflect the most current snapshot of each weight class. The next update will follow upcoming cards from UFC and PFL in the coming weeks.
