Miller Plans To Use Length Against Goff At UFC Vegas 120

Ty Cole Miller plans to stick with what got him to the UFC when he faces Billy Goff this weekend.

Miller meets Goff in a welterweight clash at UFC Vegas 120 on August 8 at the Apex in Las Vegas. The 6-foot-2 Miller intends to use his reach and jab to control range, according to Sherdog. He knocked out Adam Fugitt with seconds left in the opening frame during his promotional debut in January and is eager to build momentum.

Miller's Strategy Against Goff's Wrestling

Miller acknowledged he must stay alert for Goff's level changes and avoid getting pressed to the cage. "I'm gonna use [my height] as I always have, have people fight at the end of my jab," Miller told reporters. "Stick 'em till they drop. I just need to be able to potshot a little bit. Have them at the end of my punches and make sure my back isn't against the fence."

The unbeaten 26-year-old carries a 7-0 record into Saturday's card. Goff enters on a two-fight skid after winning his UFC debut in 2023 and now sits at 9-4 overall.

Miller said the layoff since January has felt too long and he wants a quick turnaround after this weekend's bout.
