Perry Returns To MMA Against Danis For $30 PPV
Former UFC welterweight Mike Perry will return to MMA for a pay-per-view bout against Dillon Danis on Aug. 29 at Kia Center in Orlando.
The fight headlines the Duel Arena card, with tickets ranging from $27.84 to $2,529.90. The live stream on PlayLive will cost $29.99, MMA Fighting reports.
Pricing Strategy Raises Questions
The price point has drawn scrutiny given recent marquee fights aired on streaming platforms like Netflix and Paramount+ at no additional cost. Perry left the UFC and became a bare-knuckle star for BKFC before agreeing to this matchup, while Danis last fought for Bellator before a boxing exhibition against Logan Paul in 2023.
The Aug. 29 card also features a kickboxing bout between Paul Miller and Ben Azoulay, plus boxing matches including Phil Rowe against Javanis Ross. UFC veterans Jimi Manuwa and Rashad Coulter will also compete in boxing.
