McGregor Calls Out Holloway For 2027 'Last Dance'

Conor McGregor wants Max Holloway for the final bout of his UFC contract during International Fight Week next summer in Las Vegas.

The former two-division champion pitched the matchup as his "Last Dance" with the promotion, according to ESPN. McGregor has not fought since breaking his leg against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021.

Why McGregor Targeted Holloway For UFC Exit

Holloway represents unfinished business from McGregor's featherweight days. The Irishman beat Holloway by decision in 2013, when both were rising contenders at 145 pounds.

McGregor remains under contract with the UFC despite his lengthy absence from competition. International Fight Week typically runs in early July, anchored by a major pay-per-view card at T-Mobile Arena.

The promotion has not commented on McGregor's call-out. Holloway holds the BMF title after his fifth-round knockout of Justin Gaethje at UFC 300 last April.
